A Season to Step Out in Faith.
Welcome to a transformative August, A Season to Step Out in Faith.
Our journey of faith is dynamic, filled with opportunities to grow closer to God and to witness His power and love in our lives. This season, we anchor ourselves in the powerful reminder from Exodus 14:15: “Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.’” Just as God instructed the Israelites to move forward, He calls us to move forward in our faith with courage and trust.
The story of the Israelites at the Red Sea is a powerful testament to the necessity of faith in the face of daunting circumstances. When Moses and the Israelites stood before the Red Sea with the Egyptian army in pursuit, they faced what seemed like an unconquerable obstacle. Yet, God’s command was clear: move forward. This directive required them to trust in God’s plan, even when the path ahead seemed impossible. In our own lives, we may encounter situations that feel overwhelming or hopeless. It is in these moments that we are called to step out in faith, trusting that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
Faith over fear is a principle that resonates throughout the Bible. In Isaiah 41:10, we are reminded, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Fear is a natural response to uncertainty, but as believers, we have the assurance of God’s presence and support. Our faith allows us to confront our fears with the confidence that God is with us, guiding and protecting us through every trial and tribulation.
Obedience to God’s direction is another crucial aspect of stepping out in faith. The Israelites’ obedience in moving forward led to the miraculous parting of the Red Sea. Similarly, our willingness to follow God’s guidance, even when it defies our understanding, can open doors to blessings and miracles. Proverbs 3:5-6 advises us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Trusting in God means surrendering our own plans and embracing His perfect will for our lives.
As we embark on this journey of faith, let us remember the importance of community that aids stepping out in faith. Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages us, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day approaching.” The support and encouragement of our fellow believers are invaluable as we navigate the challenges of life. By sharing our experiences, offering prayers, and providing a listening ear, we can strengthen one another’s faith and foster a sense of unity and love.
Living out our faith is a powerful testimony to God’s work in our lives. James 2:17 reminds us, “In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” Our faith should be evident in our actions, influencing everything in our lives, shining God’s light.
Finally, as we embrace this Season to Step Out in Faith, let us also be learn to deepen our trust in God, commit to His guidance. Moving forward in faith is not just a call to action; it is an invitation to experience God’s grace, power, and faithfulness in new and profound ways. Let us walk boldly, knowing that God goes before us and that He will provide and protect us every step of the way.
May God’s peace, strength, and blessings be with you all as we journey together in faith.
Grace and peace is multiplied unto you.

As believers,we Should not just have faith because of ourselves, but also because of others especially the unbelievers,so as to stir up their own faith as well.

I got to understand the fact that what we see as obstacles to faith are not actually supposed to be acknowledged as obstacles by the believers because everything we need to step out in faith in this seasons has been made available for us. The obstacles like fear, doubts, limitations, self esteem etc..are not for us as believers. Understanding the fact that, the power of God is at work in us, we have boldness in Christ to step out in faith and achieve our goals is very significant. So we are actually stepping out in faith because we know and we are very sure that God is with us.
